Esau McCaulley, New Testament Scholar, Pastor, and father of four, joins Lindsey and Ahyuwani to talk about the process of getting ready for church with a family, how church forms us, and why prioritizing spiritual formation for children is important.

  • Esau McCaulley

    Esau McCaulley is the founding pastor of All Saints Naperville. In addition to his ministry as an Anglican clergyperson, he is also The Jonathan Blanchard Associate Professor of New Testament and Public Theology at Wheaton College. He is married to Mandy, a pediatrician and captain in the U.S. Navy reserves. Together, they have four wonderful children.

    In his free time, he loves to read fantasy literature and spend time with his family. He is an avid fan of sports, including basketball, football, and premiere league soccer! Esau is also the author of a number of books, including two children’s books: Josey Johnson’s Hair and the Holy Spirit and Andy Johnson and the March for Justice. God’s Colorful Kingdom, a Children’s Bible, will be released this fall.

When we take children seriously, it reflects God's own opinion of them.
